SBTimbre is a Timbre editor -- it lets you create and modify instrument
sounds for the Sound Blaster and Adlib FM Cards. You can audition sounds
using a Sound Blaster or MPU401 compatible interface and a MIDI controller
(a piano keyboard for instance), or by pressing buttons with a mouse or
computer keyboard.
SBTimbre features include:
* Sound Blaster MIDI, MPU401 MIDI
* Multiple Open IBK Files.
* Creation of new IBK files.
* Copying of Timbres between IBK files.
* Editing of Individual Timbres.
* "Spin" edit controls using a Mouse or +- keys
* Auditioning of tones.
* Renaming of Timbres.
* 43/50 Line Screen option (EGA/VGA required).
* CUA compliant Text Mode Windows.
* Compatible with the Cakewalk FM Card driver file format (IBK files)
SBTimbre is Shareware: "try before you buy" software. If you find
SBTimbre useful, you are expected to register it after a 30 day trial
period. The program included in this zip file is the same as the
registered version -- it is a fully functioning program. If you
register the program you will receive the lastest version of SBTimbre,
the latest version of the SBANK file conversion program, printed
documentation, and telephone support. SBTimbre normally costs $29.95,
but for a limited time (until November 30, 1992), the price is $24.95.
To register, you can print and fill in the ORDER.FRM file if you wish.
